We are two parents trying to teach our children to have fun and take pride in being the best they can be.
In a world that tends to encourage and support average achievement, we wanted someone our children could see in the media that had fun and took pride in being the best she could be while still being considered cool. Our world needs all of our children to learn how to be the best they can be if we are going to eventually come together to solve the problems the world faces.
While trying to encourage our children to go the extra mile in their studies, sports, music, arts, or anything else, there seemed to be a reluctance to trying to become their best. We wanted a friend for them who made it cool and fun to go the extra mile so that they could become the best they can be. As a result, Geeky Chick was born.
